I am committed to making this work accessible to people of all income backgrounds, not just those with plenty of cash on hand. I use a cost sharing process in the form of a sliding scale, relying on folks who have access to more financial resources to pay more so that folks with fewer resources can get support without excess strain. You decide what you can contribute based on an honest assessment of your financial status. I work with a number of folks with multiple intersections of marginalized identities who are often unable to pay and I do many hours per week of unpaid community organizing work for justice. Your financial support makes all of this possible.
If you would like help determining how much you should pay, please get in touch with me and I will be happy to support you. Or, if you prefer, you can just pay the suggested amount of $150.
Here are some guidelines to help:
*If you live with very little wiggle room financially, choose the lower end of the scale and get in touch with me if that is still a stretch.
*If you are doing well enough to regularly eat out, buy new clothes, have no trouble paying your bills or buying groceries, choose the middle to upper end of the scale.
*If you enjoy the benefits listed above plus enjoy vacations/travel, have investments, assets and/or a significant savings, or if paid work is an option, choose the top of the scale.
I can sometimes offer additional financial aid if needed, based on first-come-first-served basis. Just ask!

Location, Accessibility, and Directions
Online sessions: We will meet on zoom and you will receive the link right before our first session starts. You will save this link and use it for every session.
In-person Address: 167 Main Street, Suite 307, Brattleboro, VT 05301
I am located downtown in the Paramount Building at the High St/Main St intersection. Brattleboro Bike Shop and Penelope Wurr gift shop are on the street level. In between these two businesses, there is blue/gray door with #167. Come up the double flight of stairs to the third floor, go straight, and you will see Suite 307 on your right with a waiting area in the hallway. See below for elevator directions.
Parking:
Park on Main St. with meters or in the pay-and-display High/Grove parking lot (between High St. and Grove St) just up the hill from my building. Free two hour parking further up on High St.
Accessibility:
Wheelchair accessible, elevator on site, gender non-specific bathroom, seated waiting area. The building and my office are not strictly fragrance free. I do sometimes use lavendar essential oil in the space, so if you are sensitive to scent, be in touch and we can discuss the best options. No chemical scents are used in my office for cleaning or other purposes but some are used in the building occasionally. Being right downtown, parking can be tricky if you have a wheelchair because there is only one wheelchair parking spot and it is one building over. Get in touch with me to make arrangements to use the alley for wheelchair accessibility if necessary.

Elevator:
If you have a wheelchair or need the elevator for other reasons, go down the alley to the left of the door mentioned above on Main St (toward Insight Photography), come in the door on your right, and the elevator is in the lobby. Go to the third floor, follow the sign to enter the hallway, and my office is directly across from you, Suite 307. Unfortunately there isn't a push button to open the door to the hallway so if you need help, text or call me when you arrive on the third floor.
Brattleboro is a vibrant and eclectic community on the Connecticut River. It is located right off Interstate 91 and is easily accessible from Keene, NH, Greenfield and Northampton, MA, and rural areas north and west. Some folks come for a few days to do some in-person work. Let me know if you'd like recommendations.
